This year TVA organized `Ahimsa Music Concert` in Dharamsala (India) on the 1st of March 2008. Through this concert TVA aims to spread the vegetarian message through music. Music speaks the universal language and transcends all barriers; therefore TVA felt that the music concert will be the most powerful medium for achieving the goal.

There were about 30 volunteers and 8 performers. They were all treated to a sumptuous dinner post-the concert and acknowledged for their contribution and were also thanked with an honorarium each and certificates of merits. The evening was truly eventful and many people applauded TVA and this was obvious through their generous donations. This rakes in a positive energy in TVA to further carry on such activities catering to a mass audience.
